Luxurious Hillside Lodge on a Working Wyoming Ranch

This is a sensational place at a good price. It looks and feels like exactly as advertised. I strongly recommend it. It’s winderful. I offer a few notes of caution: It is a 15-20 minute drive off the main road on a well-maintained dirt road. This can be a plus as you see lots of buffalo, deer, horses, and cows. But be aware they are often on the road, so you need to drive slowly. The host emphasizes this in their check-in instructions. Second there was some evidence of residents, such as a dead mouse and some droppings. Almost impossible to prevent this in a house such as this. Finally while the hosts were responsive on the Vrbo app, they did not respond to several phone calls and messges left on the numbers they said to call for additional answers. They apologized profusely, and said they didn’t get the messages, but we called both the numbers they provided and that was the situation.

Incredible Wyoming vacation enjoying this beautiful, comfortable property. Our family of 5 had ample room and privacy yet came together in all the spaces offered. Being remote on the ranch and passing by the bison, cattle, and other wildlife approaching and departing was an experience in itself. We made meals on site in the well equipped kitchen, witnessed the most incredible starry nights from the porch and relaxed in the hot tub. It was a magical place to experience more than just Jackson and the Grand Tetons. We hated to leave!
